great solid piece to complete with any table top to suit your needs

This is a very heavy, solid base for my oak table top. I have an odd sized booth and had difficulty finding just the right base to make it work. Problem solved! Update one year later. Still very happy with this pedestal base!

Really impressed with the weight of the bottom plate & the ease of assembly. Nice adjustable feet in each corner too. The only improvement I could have asked for - slots instead of holes. These would have been nice as I used a solid wood tabletop (that needs some freedom to expand & contract through the seasons.
