Bought this table base because the weight capacity is 350 lbs. I used it for my quartz table top and it looks to be holding up great. There instructions to put it together are not too clear. You also need to provide your own screws (8) to secure it to your table top.

This table base is very stable for a heavy table that my husband made that is an important family keepsake. It looks great!

Not universal. Doesn't fit my table. The holes don't line up to attach to my table top

The post twists just a bit on its own base. There is no way to tighten it completely due to the way the metal is cut at an angle inside the post. It looks nice but you need to be ok with a slight turn when grab the top.
