This is a nice, thick rug and it’s well represented in the pictures. The only thing I couldn’t see quite as well in the pictures online is the height variations in the rug. Parts of it are very thick and lush, like a shag carpet, and parts are much thinner. Usually the thinner parts are the parts with the colors. I really like the way it includes ivorywhite, gray, brown, and multiple variations in blues. It brings together my gray couch, off-white walls, blue accent wall, gray fireplace stone, and driftwood floors. Overall, it looks really great in my living room and I really like it. I haven’t had a chance to try vacuuming or cleaning it yet so can’t comment on that. I plan to vacuum without using the beater brush or roller because of the differences in height. This is one that I am very glad I purchased the insurance plan, because I have a feeling that it will be tricky to clean with things like dog messes or a major spills.
Editing my review and removing two stars: I still love the colors of the rug, but the fiber length differences are extreme enough that my 80-year-old mother has already tripped on it twice. That shouldn’t be happening and is something others should be aware of when considering a purchase. I’m trying to start the return process now.
