The colors are as shown. They are beautiful and calming. It has a jute backing. Upon arrival the rug had a LOT of wrinkles in it. It looks as if the rug had been folded every 5 inches or so. So many so that it impossible to get the rug to flatten out. I wonder if steaming would help?

It is a beautiful rug with great subtle colors. My only concern is that it wanted to curl up on the edges more than other rugs I have, and took longer to lay flat. This rug very affordable, and I would recommend this rug overall!
