Tapis oriental Austen Performance

For the price, it’s an okay-ish rug. I purchased this for our living roomtoddler play area. Not wanting to spend a lot of money (because the kids will destroy anything nicer, it’s a law of children), I picked this because it looked great online with a design scheme that fit into our home, and the price was on the lower end. In person, the design visual is extremely pixelated, and you can’t really see much of a pattern. I can’t take a photo because the camera smooths out the image and shows it more clear than it is. This, however, is only worth taking off one star. The other two stars come from the overall quality of the yarns. I’ve only had this rug a little over 2 months, but the yarns are picking at random spots, and the edges are so matted down that it looks old, dirty, and dingy. Sure, it’s a high traffic area, but isn’t that why we get rugs To use them I have the 6’ x 4’ size. Maybe a different size would look better, but I can’t see where that would improve the quality. I wanted to love this, but came out disappointed.
