I looked long and hard for the perfect island for our kitchen renovation. The key requirement was that the drawers and cabinets be accessible from both sides. This was not clear in the photos and while I suspected that's what "pass through drawers" meant, I called customer service to confirm. (I think the description has since been updated about how it's "identical on both sides."). It was super helpful answering all my questions. There is tons of storage in this island. We got it in Sienna and it was a little darker and less red than I thought from the photo, but it's lovely. It's really well-made and I was pleased to learn the rustic "one of a kind" touches are because it's built from reclaimed materials which is important to us. The island shipped faster than projected and we were given constant updates about the delivery for smooth scheduling. We assembled the hardware ourselves - super simple. Overall, this was a great purchase experience from the helpful people to the ease of delivery to the quality piece of furniture, I highly recommend this island.
