The "Dove" color is in between tan and gray. I would call it taupe. I have not seen another rug like this. It seems to be made very well and I had no issues with the fringe. Normally I don't like a fringed rug (OCD) but the fringes are sewn onto a kind of wire? so they don't flop around and they don't look like they will fray. If you love jute or sisal look but don't want the smell or the shedding, it's a great alternative. My only knock is that it's very thin, but it's made for outdoors so it would be perfect for a dining room! It's in my guest bath now but I will be moving it to my kitchen. Because it's so flat, it won't be a tripping hazard and I don't think I'll have to worry about stains. I will be purchasing more in other sizes and that says a lot because I'm usually very picky about my rugs. For once I'm happily surprised, not disappointed! I hope Amber makes more of these, I want them all over my house!

Great rug! Colors as expected, taupe and cream. Using this rug for my entryway, softer than expected. The only minor issue is that the fringe is longer on one side than the other as shown in my pictures. I decided to keep anyway.

Love this rug but I cannot get the sides to lay flat. Beautiful and exactly what I wanted for our entry way.
