Mcmahon Wool Oriental Indoor Rug

More rust than red. Nice but doesn’t work for where I bought it.

The rug was just as described and looks great. It also arrived much earlier than I expected, which was a nice surprise.

This rug from India is terrific. The colors are about as pictured, and the red has a maroon hue. Hand knotted, we purchased two rugs and they are a wonderful addition to our floors. A nice weight and thickness, they feel good underfoot.

I bought the round for my master bath. Looks fantastic!

Nice rug... colors are slightly less vivid/more muted than the photo, but the rug is definitely "red" and black (as opposed to rust, which seems to be a prevailing problem with what sometimes shows up at your house!) Personally, I was glad that the rug was more subtle in terms of its overall color hues. If I had a complaint about this rug, (and why I gave it 4 stars) it would the smell when I opened the packaging. Wow, it was strong... wool and must combo (my husband was worried it had gotten wet.) I saw NO indication that it was ever wet or (more ominously) moldy. After I opened it, I put it out in the sun on my patio table for a couple of hours, and then vacuumed it. I also sprayed an odor neutralizer "over" it (not directly on it) and within a day, the odor had dissipated. I had ordered a 5' x 7' foot rug, and it was just shy of that size, but with a woven rug like this, a slight variation in dimension can happen. Overall, a nicely woven rug for the cost, with a defined pattern, good pile height and subtle coloration.
