My new Claxton area rug is 100% wool with silk threads. It is hand-tufted and has nicely serged edges. It is a full 1/2 inch thick, tightly woven and heavy. I am sure it will outlast me. It is quite a classy addition to my small Wayfair living room. I thought the tribal pattern might be a little too "busy" for my "plain Jane" tastes. However, when it arrived (in three days), it appeared to be made for me. The colors are soft greens and beiges with black contrasting blocks. I am adding a few floor plants along the "jungle" idea and a few big African cat figurines. It's all coming together as "my room" one piece at a time. And by the way, the price was way too low for such a high quality rug. As a nursing-psychology major, I stand by this statement from one of my Professors: "For peace and joy in life, surround yourself with the things you love. And allow your surroundings to clearly define you". Thank you Wayfair for helping me to accomplish this for the first time in my life. I am a very satisfied customer.
