This rug is getting 2 stars, but the negatives are really for the seller, August Grove. I was looking for a small cotton washable rug to put in front of the doggy door. This rug was advertised as cotton, but no care instructions were included. I contacted Wayfair customer service, who contacted the seller. The seller responded that the rug was washable. When I received the rug, I was surprised to find that the rug is made of jute. Jute is NOT washable. Also, it was rolled and wrapped so tightly in plastic and tape, it was impossible not to destroy the packaging. I decided to keep the rug, because it is beautiful, but I placed it by the rarely used front door.
