I didn't realize how much this would shed. Was constantly picking up balls of grey fluff. Colors are beautiful however - but my cats DESTROYED it. Many rugs can be scratched without issue from cats. Not this one. Had to throw it away after about a year.

Beautiful rug, just like the pictures. Very thick, you’ll notice shedding which I’m told is normal for handmade, high quality wool rugs. It’s not as soft to the touch as you may think if you have little ones crawling on it. After using this rug for about 6 weeks the shedding has increased and that would be my only complaint and that’s why I’m taking off a star. Our rug is in a high traffic living room.

Sheds like crazy! It's been 4 months and it's somehow shedding worse now than when it was new.
