Barkley Hand Woven Jute No Pattern Rug

LOVE this rug! I ordered it in “BROWN” (aka “NaturalGray”) and it’s perfect! My floors are brown with grey tones. The quality is impressive! The thickness, the durability, the size, the detail in the weave… I ordered a thin 13” rug pad to go underneath, but only to protect my floors. The rug is thick enough and soft enough to not need a pad under it. I haven’t walked on it barefoot, but with socks, it feels nice (not scratchy and pokey). I have no constructive criticism. Buy the rug. Just do it. You’ll be happy.

The listing photos don’t show that the rug’s coarse knots form ridges a good half-inch high. Very uncomfortable for bare feet! This will go between a couch and coffee table, where mostly people with shoes sit. I may end up turning it over to the smoother side, never mind the end hems. But first it will air out on a covered porch for a few days because the jute smell is so strong.

The color was a vibrant and exactly as pictured. I love the texture of the natural jute, and it is an excellent carpet for wiping feet off because the grit settles down into the woven fibers.

Love this rug! The color is fabulous! It is a very thick weave. I used a 12” rug pad with it. The texture feels great on our feet, like a massage!

Package arrived quickly and wrapped well. Layed flat once unrolled. Texture feels good on feet. Purchased in sagenatural color. Happy with purchase and would recommend.
