For the size we ordered I was expecting the pattern to be proportional, but it's actually a little larger than expected (not a big deal though!) The grey color is a very blue-grey which seems to be different from the picture but it still works well in our space. We ordered a rug pad to go underneath it and had to trim that some because it didn't fit exactly but now it looks good. I'm able to vacuum it very easily and it works well for a front hall rug!
