The first rug that was sent was folded like origami. In the creases, you could see the backing of the rug down the whole length of the crease. Needless to say, I sent it back for a replacement rug. It too, was folded like origami, but you could tell it wasn't like that for long. It rolled out nicely, and after a few days, it laid flat. So, I am pleased with my purchase.
