I was skeptical about purchasing another area rug online given the bleak results before from prior purchases from other online stores. This particular rug is amazing -- the shag pile is so lush you cannot see or feel the backing of the rug with your hands or toes. The edge finish or overcasting is finished perfectly as well. It is easy to vacuum and has not shown any signs of shedding. It's a winner!

It's a very nice plush rug and comfortable for kids to sit and play on but extremely difficult to vacuum due to its thickness.
