Pros: * natural fiber construction (wool and cotton) is soft and attractive, not adding more plastics to the world * great color * lays flat right away Cons: * sewn with a clear nylon line that is easily visible * the cats immediately tore up some of the line just by playing with their toy mouse on the rug, not even scratching at the rug itself This rug is everything I wanted *except* the fact that the nylon binding thread is pretty noticeable and easily pulled up. I worry about this rug staying intact through normal wear because of that.
