Have had my eye on this rug for quite a while and with a new apartment I treated myself to this purchase…Does not disappoint - rich colors and wonderful detail…Just like the photo!

Beautiful design with gorgeous colors! In low lighting it has a deep red/wine color; with sunlight directly on it you could call it brick red. The fringe is different than in the photo listing, as mentioned in the other reviews but the pattern is exact. Very happy with this rug.

I was under the impression that Id be receiving the rug from the picture. However, it seems the one that arrived is a mere imitation of that rug. I can understand colors being slightly off, however the pattern is less detailed. Not to mention mine doesnt have the tasseled fringe on the ends. Im not entirely sure which rug I got, to be honest. I just know seeing its different, and this one being an imitation, I dont think this one is worth what I paid. I could see this rug maybe going for 700-800 dollars full price.. not 800 on sale. Apparently full price for this rug is around 1,400. This doesnt seem worth that. Granted the rug was constructed from wool in Belgium, but part of the price is pattern, color, and edge details. Ill keep the rug, its not a bad one, its just not what I intended on purchasing. I am however deeply disappointed that I have been lied to. Im beginning to think that specific sizes of the rug are what the picture shows, and other sizes are a cheaper imitation. Seeing other customer images almost confirms that. Not to mention the rug that arrived was from a different company than what the item page said altogether. Mine came from the company Couristan. Definitely do your research before you buy. 6.6 x 10.1 is the size I purchased.
