This rug arrived as a cardboard roll package, and was not double packaged. When you first open it, it does not roll flat and it looks very white and silver gray, which was totally not what we were going for. There is a taupe in it which simply to me doesn’t “go” with the silver gray. We had to tape down the sides, and even with tape it still curls. I would not recommend. We could not get the matching doormat to unroll and go flat at all.
