This rug exceeded expectations-- looks far more expensive than its modest price point. Yes, it's thin. I used a thick felt rug pad underneath, and it looks & feels great. Lot's of compliments! BTW, I would not call this a "pink/brown" rug as it is described. It's more rust and smoky charcoal-- very attractive, neutral colors that would work with almost anything.
