Beware of toxins. If you value your health or have children or grandchildren I highly recommend googling "Polypropylene" & making your purchase desicion knowing that this product emits the type of chemicals you will read about & more. I love Wayfair and have furnished my entire apartment here, but I will never purchase another product from this manufacturer. I have had issues with textile products off gassing, but those were usually resolved by a heavy laundry cycle, unfortunately, that is not an option for 6x9 area rug. This rug has been poisoning our home with an extreme, cough inducing, eye watering gassy odor for 11 days now. I have literally left the windows open since delivery day & have sprayed the entire rug with a full bottle of febreeze every single day trying to eliminate the odor, but unfortunately all that accomplished was wasting $44 on top of the $235 I am about to waste by dragging out of our home & into the dumpster, and to make matter worse, even though the rug was on sale when I purchased it, it is now on sale for $49 less than what I paid just 11 days ago. Sadly, it is apparent we are dealing with toxic fumes at this point, not merely a bad odor. As soon as we rolled the rug up & removed it from the bedroom & vacuumed we could breathe much easier. What kind of toxic chemicals is this company dousing their rugs with? This poisonous item does not belong in a home. I do not consider this a cheap rug either, I've had more expensive & much cheaper in the past, but never had one that made us sick the way this one does. Guess it's not a good idea to purchase a large rug online.
