Tapis oriental bleu marine / beige Florentine

Not overly thrilled with this item. From the first Wayfair photo, it appears the rug has a grayish-green tint. It is more brownbeige, and the blue seems to be more of a charcoal. It even says navy beige in the description and I still thought the first photo was an accurate representation for what I would receive. I don’t dislike the colors, it is just not what I was expecting. When I first unwrapped the rug I thought I was sent the wrong item. Subsequent Wayfair photos do show some beige brown. One review mentioned the colors were vibrant and I do not agree. It’s muted colors with distressed look. Right down the whitish strip in the middle of the rug. This also appears in the Wayfair photo. I happen to like the distressed look so I’m fine with that. Also, the size was listed as 5’6”x8’6” which it is not. It is 5’x8’. I was looking for a 6’x9’ but I decided to compromise and go with the slightly smaller size. We have an older Lab and she hates the wood floor and will only walk on carpet. I wanted to get larger rugs that cover the spaces in our kitchen so I wouldn’t need the multiple runners and smaller rugs for her to walk on. Hopefully this will cover enough flooring without any additional runners, etc. I’m not so sure and feel like I need to return it but I also ordered the next larger size(I haven’t unwrapped it yet) I can only assume that it also will not be the depicted colors and size. They are going to be in the kitchen and dining area so I prefer they match. The quality seems good. This is a low profile rug and will need a rug grippad. The expected arrival date was 11-20-21 but I received it 12-10. I’m fine with waiting. I’m not fine with the lack of communication from Wayfair explaining any delays. There was none. A simple email or message within the app would be helpful. So overall I’m not pleased with this purchase or process. I’ve ordered from Wayfair before and have been happy with products service. With ongoing Covid I’m sure they have plenty of internal problems and this will not keep me from ordering from them in the future. I will keep them for a few days to get used the colors but they may be returned. I will also try to add photos or update my review. For some reason, the app is not letting me add more photos at this time.

It’s ok, nothing special. We’ll see how it holds up.
