arrived in a timely fashion rolled up in plenty of plastic to prevent any water damage and upon unwrapping there was no damage noted, maybe just a couple tufts of wool sticking up but thats not a deal breaker. absolutely stunning rug, this was the 3X5 I chose and Im glad I did. the weight of this rug is 13 lb per the item specs and as you can see in the photo the backing is a woven material but not slippery at all so I will not need a rug pad. the material is woven wool fibers on top and I imagine the backing is also some sort of wool blend. very well woven, I dont know if its machine woven or hand woven, but it is gorgeous. very thick and plush pile. the edges are all wrapped and sewn beautifully. I can definitely see a larger one in the near future in my living room, this one I placed somewhat between the living room and the hallway but Im definitely going to be shopping for a larger one. if youre on the fence about this one dont be it is beautiful and I can tell you Im particular when it comes to rugs and carpet and this one gets five stars on a scale of 0 to 5. my cat has taken over this rug as his scratching rug he absolutely does it every morning and yes he has a part of it worn but its still in very good shape.

I was tired of going through cheap rugs that couldn’t hold up to the dogs little messes. This is a very high quality wool rug. The colors are beautiful and really go with the new kitchen remodel. Lots of cinnamon color, which I like. Spot cleans easily with a microfiber cloth.

This is a beautiful hallway runner. It adds an elegant touch to our hallway.The colors are soft and blend well together. The texture of the rug is firm yet plush. A carpet pad would be helpful to secure the runner on a wooden floor.

This is a nice quality wool rug. The pattern is slightly muted and the pile is a good height. I took pictures both with and without a flash to give different looks at the design. The size ordered is good for a small space upgrade.

This rug is amazing. It looks perfect against warm wood floors and Urbane Bronze painted accent wall. The colors range from dark khaki, dark cinnamon, muted mauve and beige. It is very thick and high quality, the photos in the listing don’t do it justice. I’ve added some close ups to show how beautifully this Sami rug is woven. Size 3x5’ shown.
