Tapis oriental rouge tissé à plat à la main Joppatowne

I bought a 6' square and a 3x5 rug in this pattern. The rug looks very similar to the picture. BUT, the pattern is pressed onto the creme colored background. The colors are NOT woven through it. When I unrolled the 6' rug, it had a streak about an 1" wide and a foot long, that did not have the pattern. The fibers in the smaller rung have come up so it's obvious the pattern is on the surface only. I do not recommend these rugs.

My client's daughter (age 18) loves this in her "ski mountain" themed room. It's not authentic Persian, of course, but the price is a steal (fit their budget) and it looks cool for our needs.

I got this for my bathroom and it works great and looks great.

Cute rug! The ends are a little crooked, not squared, but it otherwise looks durable and will work great in my space.
