This was a nice rug at first. then the sides started to curl up. We decided to try and wash it. We washed as directed--cold water and we let it air dry. The sides curled up and we cannot get them to stay down. We tried a cool iron and laying books on the ends. Awful. Huge disappointment. I would love to see a brand where a runner like this stays down and where the backing actually sticks to the floor which is another issue.

Bought two, 3x5 and 8x10. Both have held up well. These are not the fuzzy fleecy washables, more of a flat weave. If you are shopping for washable rugs, we recommend them.

I am very disappointed with this rug. I washed it 1 time and it shrunk, 6 inches in length and 2 inches in width. I washed it on the delicate cycle with cold water. I hung it to dry. What a waste of money.
