Tapis oriental bleu marine en laine tissé à la machine

I really tried to like/love this run in 5x7. The product pix show navy blue, but the rug color turned out lighter than this. Not so much blue but more voilet and purple -- that part I could tolerate. However some of these manufacturers are trying to make these rugs super soft by creating some kind of fuzz or peach fuzz (like suede does) where it softens the color and design. Almost as if the color is faded and left in the sun too much. If the manufacturer could take the colors and darken them just a bit to compensate for the lighter color appearance. Maybe this rug looks better smaller, as I am not sure bigger would help it turn out better. I knew most of these colors (except for "navy blue") were going to look like Mardi Gras, but with the blue being more purple it feels like frog princess lol. Beyond all the mentioned above, this rug was the nicest quality I have ever had for a rug = no odors; contours to your floor; didn't need to be bend it the opposite way just to get it to lay flat; felt nice and soft. All which makes me sad that it was so different than the product photos. Check my picture and if it's your thing than go for it!
