Tapis oriental brun / bleu marine

I was a bit hesitant reading that this is a printed rug but after doing some research on the process and durability, I decided to order. First impression is that it was well packaged and fairly lightweight. I was able to bring it in easily by myself. It was fully encased in a thicker plastic so no snow, salt, or dirt got on it. After removing the rug from the packaging I was surprised at the LACK of scent. There was little to no odor. The rug is beautiful, just as shown. The colors are vibrant and it does have a vintage worn look. The backing is a really nice woven material. It is flexible and high quality. You definitely want a rug pad (I purchase Wayfair's basic rug pad) and I highly recommend some Never Curl rug corners. The rug feels incredible underfoot. My dog LOVES it and this is the kind of home where the dog's opinion matters. I feared the printing would leave a crusty feel to the rug but it is very soft. As for the durability, I have only owned the rug for a few days but our dog has already done her scratch and circle (if you have dogs, you know) and it didn't cause loose fibers, loss of color, or snags. I vacuumed it and there were NO loose fibers in the canister which impressed me. I've attached photos with and without flash, including a close up of the nap and the backing (please excuse the dog hair). For reference, it is the 5x7 size. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and the customer service. Did I mention I have a dog? :P UPDATED: This a rug for those seldom-used rooms with plastic on the furniture and no children allowed. After a month the corner of the rug looks super worn (see picture). I understand it is purposely worn and vintage but the corner shouldn't look so rough after a month of normal wear. It is not an area where our dog would normally inhabit, in fact, those areas still look great. I followed instructions and used low suction on the vacuum and NO beater bar. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to clean that way, which is also a minus.
