Tapis oriental en laine / polyester tissé à la machine en noir

I had high hopes for this rug. It was sold out when I first tried to order and I patiently waited for it to be back in-stock. I carefully studied reviews and customer photos. When it arrived I unrolled it on the floor, only to find that the top decorative “layer” wrinkled when it was laid flat. This rug brand is very expensive, so this wasn’t something I could live with. Also, the color of this newly stocked rug was highly muted compared to any product pics or customer review pics. I love a vintage look. I expected it to have a vintage look. That’s one reason I thought I would like this rug. But this rug looked like the fibers hadn’t taken to the dying process, or like it had been left out in the sun for a few months. I have already returned it, or I would post a pic.
