Tapis oriental en laine / polyester tissé à la machine en bleu / mauve

I bought this gorgeous 6 ft. rug last July, and I'm madly in love with it. I haven't had it for even a year but a few months ago, the blue edging (tufts?) started to fray. I now have two areas like that that are breaking my heart. I've been so gentle with it that this must be a flaw. I don't know what to do about it, how to have it fixed, or if Wayfair will offer to replace it. This statement piece in my home recording studio makes the room pop; I just don't want to be left with a damaged rug through no fault of my own.
