WE LOVE OUR RUG! It will m will not take his shoes off … grrr.Oh well! This rug probably won’t shed if no one sits for long periods of time on a couch pushing shoes into the rug. I’m barefoot always. This rug is thick and well worth the price. We have a dark gray -leather- wrap around—couch on top of one end of it. We like the tassels on the ends. There is enough dark gray in the middle of the rug to go with our couch. Oh typo up there. My husband will not take his shoes off*

I very much like wool Safavieh rugs and after I chose the 5x7 I wanted, I liked the design on this one so much, I decided to get a 2x3 as an accent rug. It blends perfectly with the other rug being a similar color tone and construction style. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars over 5 is that when I looked at the photos online, there seemed to be far more detail in the rug than there actually is. Even the photo I took looks far more detailed than it is. Ah, the dilemmas of buying online.
