We purchased this rug suspecting it was actually blue from having seen it on other websites and having seen it on the manufacturer's website. It is as expected from those sites, and is an excellent rug.. the wool/silk does shed, but it's still new and we expect that to reduce with a short time. it's extremely soft and a very nicely made rug. the wool is a good quality, the silk may be scrap silk? I'm not sure, since the manufacturer doesn't say much about it. Pros: excellent build quality, name brand, warranty, wool, silk (not rayon), soft, good lookin Cons: initial shedding, color representation on website, price
