Absolutely love the look of this rug and it feels nice under foot BUT unfortunately it will not hold up if you have dogs. My dog does not dig or scratch any furniture in the house but probably because the rug smells new and different, she has lightly scratched it a few times and it has damaged the rug in several different places. The rug has closed loop threads that easily pull loose. I do not believe this rug will hold up to dogs, vacuuming and normal usage (such as pulling chairs in and out) over time.

This rug has held up well over 2 years, with a dog and a toddler. It’s high quality and heavy so doesn’t slide around on the wood floor.
