Tapis turquoise / brun Byrdo

Love the rug’s pattern. Unfortunately, it arrived with one small section (about 4”) of the edge binding unraveling. At the time it was delivered, we were remodeling, and I did not unwrap it right away, so by the time I realized it had the damage, the return window had closed. If nothing else, this teaches me to check everything from Wayfair as soon as it arrives. Kind of wish these larger rugs were not folded rather than rolled, as it takes FOREVER for folded rugs to flatten out. I ended up steaming the backing, some of which was stressed from being folded; that folding stress will never come out of the backing, so I believe this lessens the overall quality and longevity of the rug.
