Tapis ivoire/brun en laine touffeté à la main oriental Delaware

The rug is perfect under our kitchen table. it it heavy and we like the design and colors. It has ample space that we can move our chairs back and have a periphery and the chairs don’t strike our wood floors. The delivery was quick and the rug arrived very well packaged. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful rug! Edges laid flat almost immediately. Had to lay heavy books in places in the middle to help it lay flat- took a couple of days. No nasty new rug smell with the one I received. The background is a slightly yellow undertone tan (my pics display it maybe more greige). The prominent colors in the decoration are variations of green. Other colors include gold, burgundy and a dusty rose. Part of the pattern is a bit wavy at one end on the rug I received, so I had to face the rug a certain way so it wasn’t as noticeable. I have had that happen with other handmade rugs.
