Tapis mauve Ink

I realized this rug was printed, but didnt know that meant it was going to be super slick. In retrospect I suppose in order to make it printable the surface had to be smooth enough to accept the image. Anyway, it was slick enough that I didnt feel safe walking across it barefoot in the dark half-asleep. I am returning it and looking for something with more pile. Now I know to avoid the printed rugs!

The colors are gorgeous and just right for our bathroom, not on the floor, but on the wall. We have a lot of tile and I wanted something to make it a little warmer and absorb sounds.
