Tapis rouge en laine

I was really disappointed (and kind of shocked actually) when I saw this rug in real life. Unfortunately, I think the online description must be a mistake because it does not look or feel like wool. Unlike other rugs I've ordered, there is no tag on it either which should state the materials. I'm certain it's not wool though....It looks and feels very synthetic. The rug is also quite thin and, in my opinion, very over-priced at $130 for a small 2x3 size. I was going to splurge on it if it was real wool, but sadly it is going back!
