Carpet is very thin and does not have any texture as you would expect, the pattern looks like a print.

The carpet is very soft. It does not have texture, but that is what I was looking for. The backing of it is really great with some rubber to prevent it from slipping and will be great for the location I have it in which is a backdoor off of a deck. The pattern is really nice and the colouring is great. I am very happy with the carpet overall.
