I was nervous that the texture would be like our wool pebble rug we purchased before - trendy, but constantly shedding and needed to literally be trimmed with scissors after every vacuum (never buy those!) this rug is a low pile looped texture that doesn’t seem to shed at all. Pleasantly surprised by the soft texture, I was prepared for scratchiness. We got the dark charcoal color

We got the dark charcoal color and it is exactly true to the photos. I’m quite particular, especially with rugs. I consider this to be an incredible value. It’s wool, durable, and natural in color. It will suit almost any design style. It does have some burrs in it when you first get it, but those go away with vacuuming and use (they end up getting encapsulated in the wool). Definitely don’t let that be a deal breaker. I plan on buying this rug in another color should the need arise.
