Does the rug look like the photo? Yes. In that sense, it's ideal for my room. However, the 8x10 was several inches larger than 8x10 and didn't fit into the space. So I ordered this, the next smaller size... which was several inches smaller than advertised, making it much too small for my needs. If you like the colors and your space has size flexibility, you'll do fine with it.

The design and colors are awesome. The pile and texture is not at all good. The rug had several creases as it seemed to have been folded (not rolled) before. There wasis also a strong chemical smell. The creases are still there, the smell has lessened in 3 days with open windows in cold weather.
