This is not gray like the picture. It has streaks of brown in it. The variation gives it some depth but just be aware that it definitely does not look like a solid gray the way the picture shows.

I use this for a family room throw carpet and it’s perfect for that rustic feeling I was looking for ! No shedding on clothing . Comfortable for kids to sit on ! And they love it !

Awesome rug, feels good quality, but keep in mind that the rug looks off white and brown I’m not so much grey. Looks really nice.
