The color was a shown on the website. Quality was very nice and heavy weight so the rug laid flat immediately when unrolled except for the very tightest end and I just take a day to flatten out. I have not had it long enough to notice any shedding but ALL wool rugs give off some fibers. Very happy with the purchase.

This rug is very well made and nice. I am not crazy about the color however and wish that it was more of a neutral tan without the dark brown accents. Tufted wool rugs are the best and are a high quality. I am excited to use it in our family room.

Rug is nice quality, big enough to cover my entire living room. I think it serves a country vibe, its not soft or plush but it does stay put so I dont slip around and fall. If youre looking for something both modern and rustic at the same time, I would suggest this one.

I was very excited to receive my area rug by Halbur. I needed a very large rug for my living room because I have wood floors. My 1 1/2 year old grandson needed a soft carpet to play on. He just started walking so I needed a carpet that would lay flat and be soft. This carpet is not as soft as I was hoping it would be. My grandson was playing on the carpet and I noticed he started having a reaction to it. Our previous carpet was wool so it isn’t the wool he had an issue with. The carpet feels scratchy. Not as soft as my previous wool carpet. It is a beautiful carpet. This is the reason I removed a star. The second reason I took a second star away is because usually carpets of this caliber it should lay flat immediately. This has been the only wool carpet I have ever received that had the corners that stick up. You will definitely need some type of carpet tape. We found ourselves tripping on the sides and corners of the carpet. We put heavy items on the corners that were turned up to get them to lay flat. Unfortunately even after having the heavy items on the upturned ends they wouldn’t lay flat till we installed carpet tape. So you need to have carpet tape handy when laying this carpet. The other issue I had with this carpet is the design. It is very busy. It draws the eye to the floor.. I loved the lines of blue and white. I even don’t mind the grey in between the lines. It is the black checked boxes on the grey that causes the carpet to be very busy. It is to busy for my living room. One thing the carpet did manage to do was make my tiny living room look huge. I don’t know if it was the pattern of the carpet that makes the room look a lot bigger but when I first came home and my first thought when I saw it down for the first time I was amazed how large my living room looked. I typically purchase round area rugs to help with making my room look larger. I was also impressed when vacuuming this wool rug that it doesn’t shed as much as my previous wool rugs. As you can see my cat loves the rug. She would rather sleep on the rug instead of her comfy bed. My dachshund also likes sprawling out on the carpet. My only concern on the carpet is my grandson. We will be babysitting him again this weekend. If his little skin reacts again then the carpet will have to be changed out. We were not sure if it was the carpet or his first swim in our pool that caused his little arms to be red.

This is a great rug. It looks great in our living room. It is thick and comfortable to walk on. The pattern is great and is a beautiful color. I would highly recommend this rug to anyone. It vacuums really nicely and always looks nice.
