Whittlesey Striped Hand-Woven Flatweave Cotton Grey Area Rug

I loved this rug... for awhile. But the mohair just keeps coming up and forming this terrible, whispy layer and I've tried shaving it off but it just keeps coming. It has also become kind of flimsy over the time and it doesn't want to sit flat. I wouldn't buy it again.

not as rich in color as in the photo as the wool in the picture seems to have something underneath it so it pops. but its the right size and shape

Description says the rug is 1/2 in. It is not. I could not get it to lay flat after 1 week. Colors are nice and as pictured. Wasn't for me.

This is a great quality rug. 100% cotton. I think one of the previous reviews claimed it had a built in pad. That is not true. The rug is very thin and very soft, with no pad. It took a few days for my rug to sit flat, but it is beautiful now that it's settled.

I liked the muted tones in this rug. It didn't overpower the room but gave it just enough contrast. I didn't realize it has no backing. It made for light shipping and carrying but not sure if the corners are going to curl. I may try some carpet tape
