Super cute and nice and soft, but sheds SO much!

This rug is beautiful, but there were a few surprises. The most important surprise is the rug sheds like crazy. I first noticed the shedding when I sat on the ground with my baby. When I stood up, my pants were covered in light color fuzzy clumps. I vacuum nearly daily and the rug sheds more and more. My biggest concern is the safety of my baby and that the shedding causes a choking hazard. I hope to return this rug and exchange for a new one.
