Amontay Handmade Flatweave Jute/Sisal Area Rug in Brown

If you're wondering what the rounded rug looks like, it's completely different from the pictures online. It has a thick fabric border around the whole thing. This isn't the product's fault, but Wayfair also had some technical errors when I tried to return the rug. First it told me I'd be refunded for 35 dollars and didn't print a label. Then I was told by customer service that Wayfair decided I wanted a partial refund of 78 and would be keeping the rug. Not at all what I selected! I was also told at different points online that I'd be refunded ~250 but then that it was 158. While writing this, I've been waiting for customer service to connect me with a manager. After 25 minutes I was hung up on. It's been a harsh reminder of why I try not to shop online in the first place. The rug itself isn't poor quality but it's frustrating to me that they neglected to mention that it is so obviously visually different between the rugs when they could have at least put up a photo or mentioned it somewhere in the description that what you're looking at won't be what you get.

I do like this rug, however, the bottom is incredibly dirty and it left dirt marks all over our floor.

The weave was very loose on the end. I actually sat down and pulled the weave tighter. It was also crooked and longer than it should have been. It works and has not fallen apart.

The weave is coming loose and knots on it? Is this covered?

I’m glad I waited to review this rug. It’s gone to the landfill today. I’ve had it for six months. It is extremely heavy and thick and knobby strings come loose in this rug because it’s not woven tightly. The weave is so loose that dirt travels through it to underneath the rug. The vacuum pulls the wave loose, the dogs toenails catch on them, and definitely don’t wear high heels on them or you’re not gonna make it across without tripping. The basket weave is also not very pretty. This is a hard no for me and I would never purchase it again, nor recommend anybody purchase it. It’s a poor value for the price.
