Early days, but the materials are soft and great to walk on. lays flat (which seem like an odd comment but I've ordered rugs online before and they were so cheap they never played completely flat). Heavy enough that it probably won't blow away and functions without underlay. That said, underlay if probably a good idea if the surface its placed on is smooth. Overall good product. Would buy again at the right price.
