Love this rug it is very soft underfoot. Hoping it will wear well. Looks great in our new Florida home.

This is a very well crafted rug with beautiful subtle colors and details. Would highly recommend.

Update: three years later the rug is in rough shape due to our cat and foot traffic. I’m not sure if we’re to blame, or if the quality of the rug is so-so, but it didn’t hold up well compared to other rugs we’ve had and we’ve trimmed it three times with a depiller so I feel we’ve tried on our end. I think if the cat was better behaved the rug would show less wear but even in areas she doesn’t claw there are loose threads and loops (second pic of many pills is from foot traffic by the couch; the first pic is where she claws). It leads me to believe the construction isn’t the best quality, but maybe this is just part of wool rug maintenance that I didn’t know I was signing up for. We’ve also cleaned it with a wet vacuum several times but maybe that should have been done by the professionals. Updated review from 5 stars to 3 as I had hoped it would be higher quality. —— Original review: We are so pleased with this rug. Beautiful texture and quality. Our robo vacuums clean it easily. The smell was not strong and the rug lay flat after just a few days.

Bought the round version of this rug to place under a round, mesquite dining table that has blue accents in the room. Looks and works well in the room.
