This is an attractive, durable doormat. However, it has a raised lip around the perimeter, which makes the mat into a shallow pan. Also, the panels of synthetic coir hold water, which means that if you live where it rains a lot, the mat will never dry out.

The mat is great. Could only give three stars because of the poor service that Wayfair has been providing lately. On this particular item when I ordered it, it was late AND instead of a door mat...THERE WAS A TISSUE HOLDER IN THE BOX! So I had to go back, contact Customer Service (and although the Rep. was nice) and it was still another week and a half before I got the correct item.
