The texture, feel and look of the machine woven polyester yarn fits very well against the hard wood flooring The color is vibrant and looks better live then in the photos. The rug is very soft to the touch but is rugged enough for the anticipated foot traffic in an apartment. Highly recommended for any apartment or home.
