Mixed reviews: firstly, this is a gorgeous rug! I was drawn to it because of the beautiful dark red and brown tones and it paired so nicely in my home. I specifically bought it because it is a “washable” rug and I’d be using this in a high traffic area (under my dining table). I purchased this in October 2023 and washed it for the first time in June 2024. I took this rug to the laundromat (as it is too big for my home washer) and washed it as directed, laid it flat to dry and ever since then the rug has not been the same. There are horrible curls that have not flattened and the top layer of fabric has separated from the bottom in addition to the colors in this rug fading significantly. For $350 I expected this rug to last much longer! And disappointed that there was nothing Wayfair could do for me considering this purchase was made less than a year ago. Also beware, the description says you can only wash this rug “up to 3 times”. If you don’t plan to wash this rug or use it in an area that does not get much traffic, it would be great.. but if you are - please reconsider and save yourself some trouble (or purchase only a 1 year protection plan for $15-$25). I’ve included pics of when the rug first arrived vs now.

Washed it 1 time and now the fabric is too big for the rubber part. Complete trash and will have to get a new rug.

Love it! Looks vintage and distressed

This rug has beautiful muted tones, yet the texture is a bit rough & edges uneven. It arrived well packaged & promptly. Upon opening it layer completely flat & I ended up loving it under the dining table. I’ll see how it holds up in the long run.
