I liked this rug so much, I bought another of the same type. I have a dog who is afraid of thunder, and digs in my rugs like crazy. I think this one will withstand it. With a thin pad under, it is very soft, and gives a nice place for bare feet in the morning. The colors are subdued, and look nice in either room I tried.
