Now the color "Black" is definitely not black. It is definitely a dark brown which is upsetting to me, however the mat is so comfy to stand on so that makes up for the color. I'd love if it were larger too but for now it is fine. It doesn't slide around. I believe it stays in place because my floor has texture. The foam has a decent depth and I'm glad that it protects my floors.

I spend quite a lot of time in my kitchen. I was looking for something with cushion for my feet but also looks good, and this does it!

Nice mat. Little stiff. Less cushion than I thought. Also not as deep s I thought.
